How 7 Misfit Products Became One Coherent
Software Solution
Client: Eyretel, Inc. - Contact 7000 Product Suite
Contract: Bad Dad Design
Background: A London-based company
that sells recording equipment and software to call centers for quality assurance
and employee evaluation.
Problem: Eyretel offered several different
software products to itās clients. Some were developed internally and some were purchased. All were different looking and all functioned differently while sharing many of the same tasks such as audio playback. Having consistancy in the look and functionality was essential for the evolution of the product suite.
Solution: After Bad Dad Design conducted
a heuristic analysis, a new GUI was created, integrating all the products. Functionality and button placement was standardized. A comprehensive document was written to assist Eyretel developers in the recreation of the software.

Multi-functional Sales Tool
Client: Eyretel, Inc. - eQuote Pricing Generator
Contract: Bad Dad Design
Background: A London-based company that sells recording equipment and software to call centers for quality assurance and employee evaluation.
Problem: A multi-regional sales team used various methods of generating new orders. A web-based solution for a complex
set of users, regions, currencies, and products was needed to standardize price lists and manage sales leads.
Solution: After performing a heuristic analysis on current pricing solutions, Bad Dad Design wrote requirement documents,
created HTML prototypes, and invented user-interfaces to accommodate a world-wide sales force, regardless of region or currency. One interface solution
was a master price list that could be edited and saved to reflect commissions, maintenance costs, and special products. Others interfaces are described in the PDF.

scenarios and scripts were analyzed and turned into working demonstrations by Bad Dad Design. Active server pages were used to imitate a working product.

New Logo, Custom Colors
Client: iHire, Inc.
Contract: Bad Dad Design
Background: An employee/employer matching company with services in two dozen markets.
Problem: The website for each market uses the same database engine and interface without branding for iHire or the market.
Solution: Bad Dad Design created a logo that works for all markets. The name of the market is easily added to the logo to identify the market. The user interface was streamlined and templates were created to allow developers to quickly build additional market sites. A stylesheet was created that allows the color scheme of each market to be edited with one change in the code.
